TEC's campaign for a national e-waste recycling scheme has succeeded! By the middle of 2012 collection facilities will be rolled out. The program has an 80% collection target (by 2020) and 90% resource recovery goal backed up by regulation. Check here for the latest updates.

Australian Computer Recycling Guide
NB: While refurbishers are able to give computers a ‘second’ life, some may not necessarily dispose of residual waste computers in an environmentally responsible manner. We advise you to check with individual refurbishers to ensure that they recycle residual computer materials responsibly.
